Jacky continues his meteoric rise into 2018 on the back of an incredible year which saw him release on the likes of Lost Records, DFTD and Red Lunar Records.

His latest offering ‘Addicted’ sees a long overdue collaboration with Max Chapman finally come to fruition on Pete Tong’s FFRR imprint, it’s a pure fusion of sounds coming together to create a subtle yet brooding cut which is bound to gain attention across the land.

‘Addicted’ is available to download here.

Jacky has kindly served up a party playlist to get your weekend started – take a listen to his run down below.

1. Max Chapman & Jacky – Addicted (Featuring Charlie Sanderson) [FFRR]

As soon as we finished working on this track I was super excited about getting it out, so it was a lovely surprise to hear the main man himself, Pete Tong, wanted to snap it up for his label, FFRR. We had no predetermined ideas as to what we wanted to do when we both got in the studio last winter, but I am fairly sure our mutual love for the latest Bicep album definitely influenced the direction here. Something completely different for us both, but also enabled us to showcase our skills in something other than house music, and I can confidently say we did exactly that!

2. Jamie Trench – Turn You Around [Roush]

Easily one of the best tracks I have heard in AGES. I have followed Jamie and Roots For Bloom for years so I wasn’t surprised when I opened this absolute weapon a couple of weeks ago. If someone asked me ‘what is your favourite house track at the moment?’ this would be it without a doubt. Real, quality house music. Hats off Mr Trench, smashed it with this one!

3. The Boombox – Coco Klang [Red Lunar Records]

The Boombox is another new artist who’s been impressing me lately. The vocal section in this is so catchy I literally sometimes sit in the car with this on repeat.

4. Steve Lawler & Catz ‘n Dogz – Ali (Richy Ahmed Remix)

This is a failsafe track too. Really groovy from start to finish. I have been opening with this one lately and I think I will continue to do so for a little while. TUNE!

5. Jayda G & Alexa Dash – Diva Bitch (Jayda G Get Down On Your Knees Mix) [Freakout Cult]

My mate put me on to Jayda G last year. I heard this in one of her sets and I was like ‘YES’. Took me a while to get the track name but eventually did – it was definitely worth the hassle!

6. Adison – Acid101 [Red Lunar Records]

Up and coming Adison has been on my radar for some time now. Both being Newcastle lads, we knew each other from the town but his music first caught my attention back in 2016 and you can take it from me, he’s definitely one to watch. Been dropping this for months now and it gets such a reaction. No brainer.

7. Anthony Attalla – 6 Step [Twisted Fusion]

This is just a straight up banger. That breakbeat section in the second breakdown is mega. My man Joey (Apollo84, owner of TF) knows how to sign them!

8. Jesse Perez – Things Done In The Dark [Do Not Sleep]

Ever since I heard ‘Fake’ back in 2016 I knew this lad was going to be on my watch list going forward. This dropped in my promo mail last month and as soon as I heard it I knew it would work. Goes down a treat mid-set.

9. Pirate Copy – Para Dice (Prok & Fitch Remix) [Kaluki Musik]

There isn’t much that Kaluki put out that I haven’t been into recently and this is no exception. The whole EP is actually top, but if I had to choose one it has to be this. Prok & Fitch nailed it with this one.

10. Mason Collective – Favela [Resonance Records]

I’ve known these lads from years back playing in Manchester. We would be on the same line ups at Sankeys now and again so it’s ace to see these boys step it up with their music. The drums in this one are mint. Proper groove start to finish. Nice job fellas.
